This
hike accompanied with dromedaries will lead you up to the melodious
dunes. You will appreciate the magnificent
landscapes, the various colors of the sand and the freshness of
oasis. This tour is completely adapted to the youngest! The
stages of walking are not very physical and dromedaries are there
to help the least brave.
You will share the life of the nomads with bivouacs and meal in conviviality around the fire. Mauritanian tales, explanations of the flora and fauna, the local customs and the astronomy are for the program.

Day 1 : Departure
early in the morning of the hotel Inimi in Atar for Chinguetti in taxi
bush. Small stopping place in the passage in the pass of Ebenou to take
advantage of the unlimitedness of the view. Arrived at
Chinguetti, we visit the library, the museum and the ruins of
this historic city. Picnic in the dunes lining the city. We shall
also find there the camel team to whom we have
confided our luggage.
When the temperature got down, we shall climb dunes up to their summit. We enjoy the panorama of sand, of oueds (river) and of herbs for camels. We install the bivouac in circles of dunes.
Day 2 : Departure after breakfast to continue in the dunes. We take time to discover the rich flora and fauna in this region. With a little luck, we shall meet a family of fennecs. Picnic near a well, in the shade of one centenarian locust trees.
After a small nap been imperative by the heat, we shall leave towards the oasis of Gueila. Magnificent oasis, in the middle of the desert. Freshness, peace and rest will be the themes of our second bivouac.
Day 3 : We take back the road early in the morning to continue our discovery of this empire of sand. Picnic in a young oued in the shadow of the numerous locust trees. After our last ones walked in the sand, we join the vehicle which returns us to Atar. At night in the hotel to resume strengths before the departure.

There is no TOILETS in the desert!
- The meals: they will be taken in common under the tent or around the fire. The cook prepares his meals with local products.
Indicate before the departure any particular diet or allergies. We are at your disposal for any particular requests.
